Position Overview
We are looking for caring and enthusiastic volunteers to help lead and assist with children’s activities in our youth program. Volunteers help create a fun, safe, and positive environment where children can learn, play, and build friendships.
This role is perfect for individuals who enjoy working with kids and want to make a meaningful difference in their lives through encouragement, creativity, and mentorship.
Responsibilities
- Help organize and lead age-appropriate activities for children
- Assist with games, crafts, sports, and group activities
- Encourage positive behavior, teamwork, and participation
- Help supervise children during activities and events
- Assist with setting up and cleaning up activity areas
- Support program leaders in maintaining a safe environment
Qualifications
- Enjoy working with children
- Friendly, patient, and dependable
- Able to work well with a team
- Willing to help children feel included and encouraged
- No special experience required—training and guidance are provided
Additional Requirements
- Background check required for all volunteers working with children
- Commitment to child safety policies and respectful conduct
- Must follow program guidelines and supervision procedures
